Christo and Jeanne-Claude is the name of the artistic project of the couple Christo Vladimirov Yavachev and Jeanne-Claude Denat de Guillebon (Casablanca 1935 - New York, 2009). Together, Christo and Jeanne-Claude, in a career spanning more than thirty years, have created colossal works that have made the history of "land art". A curiosity: both were born on June 13, 1935.

Who is Etienne AUBERT?

"Even though he has studied art history, his emotion, he draws it above all from an early age, when he finds himself frozen, dazzled, intoxicated, and sometimes even weakened, in front of a work of art. Since his young adolescence, he has been constantly frequenting museums and art galleries both in France and abroad, to better understand. The mystery remains; so the look is decisive.

Our spirit is nourished by art, which in turn elevates our soul. What he has been doing for years is to share his unfailing passion for art, to propose his own analysis and to contextualize the works in their historical setting.

There is no possible equation between the work and the discourse. No speech exhauses a work of art. This is probably what makes any interpretation infinite and fascinating. With the work of art, there is a mysterious presence because it is silent. »
