Laurence d'Ist is an art historian, member of the Aica and independent curator. In 2020 she curated for the Maeght Foundation the first tribute exhibition to the painter of the Figuration narrative: Jacques Monory.
Attentive to the diversity of plastic expressions, she highlights current trends or currents by questioning the relationship of contemporary artists to the history of art but also to literature and philosophy. She produces the catalogues that accompany the exhibitions. A lecturer in art history, she has collaborated on the art magazine "Cimaise", the exhibition catalogue "Sculpture'Elles" presented at the Musée des années trente in 2011 in Boulogne-Billancourt, and the Korean cultural magazine "Sa:Gak".
She writes articles for the magazine "Artension" including "Le Guide des galeries d'art" and the magazine "Art Absolument".
