Myriam Chair
Director and founder of the Myriam Chair gallery
French, English
Specialty: Multidisciplinary
Myriam Chair founded her gallery in Paris in 2021, with the aim of championing a contemporary art scene that is both emerging and recognized, both French and international. The program explores an open dialogue between different mediums, breaking down barriers, offering a sensitive interpretation of the world around us.
Each exhibition is designed as an immersive experience, crafted in close collaboration with the artists. It aims to create a genuine space for encountering the works, in a unique yet holistic approach.
Before launching her own gallery, Myriam Chair worked for several years in the art market, notably at the Almine Rech gallery and at auction houses such as Piasa and Aguttes.
She holds degrees in Art History (specializing in the 20th and 21st centuries, Sorbonne – Paris IV), in Art Market Law (University of Paris II – Assas), as well as in Cultural Management (ESCP Europe).
