A graduate of Central Saint Martins, Raphaël Giannesini works as a curator and scenographer with various Parisian institutions and galleries. Using a transhistorical approach, he works to bring disciplines and styles into dialogue, questioning the status and uses of design and art, objects and sculpture. Influenced by cinema, literature and fashion, his exhibitions are settings where works of art are activated like "macguffins", weapons of crime around which fiction unfolds.
