The Rencontres Artistiques organized each year by Carré sur Seine offer artists the opportunity to meet experts from the contemporary art world, in the form of interviews, and to obtain a professional opinion on their work. The Rencontres are accompanied by a prize awarded each year to three winners chosen by the jury of experts.

I thought it was remarkable to allow a dialogue between young artists and established experts.
"As a student at the Beaux-arts, I found in Carré sur Seine an ideal platform to professionalise my relationship with the art world. The meeting and exchange with different experts allowed me to confront my practice and my discourse with the eyes and ears of informed professionals. There is a lack of such opportunities today and I found it remarkable to allow a dialogue between young artists and established experts.
I was really honoured to be one of the three winners of this year's event and it gave me a lot of visibility and opportunities like my exhibition at the Institute of Islamic Cultures.

"The Rencontres Artistiques of Carré sur Seine are a great opportunity for artists who are just starting out in their professional careers, like me, to get advice and viewpoints on their work from different experts in the field. But it also remains unavailable for artists who are already in a professional continuity, who string together various projects and aim to meet a specific expert with a project already formed.
In my case, it was very important to make these meetings last year in order to take a step forward towards creating my professional network. Not having studied in France, I had difficulty finding my place in the French professional art world. The format of this event makes it really accessible to meet galleries or institutions.
In my case, the Meetings have given my work more visibility, contributing to the expansion of my professional network. I would love to participate this year!

Since 2006, Maria Giovanna Gilotta and Florence Provost have sought to bring contemporary art to a public of both new and experienced collectors.

The strength of Exit art contemporain's selection lies in its ability to be provocative, amusing or unexpected, yet still able to make its way into our daily lives.
The Exit art contemporain gallery, nomadic in its origins, has now settled in Boulogne-Billancourt, a city with strong cultural potential, and aims to develop the presence of contemporary art here.
