Rencontres Artistiques 2025
will be held on Monday June 23, Tuesday June 24, Wednesday June 25 and Thursday June 26, 2025.
The deadline for applications is midnight (CEST) on Sunday, June 1, 2025.
The application form
General terms and conditions :
Applications are open to all artists, whatever their speciality, age or nationality.
- Applications can only be submitted by email.
- Submission of the application form is essential for participation in the Rencontres Artistiques.
- This first application stage is free of charge.
- Files that are incomplete, contain documents exceeding the number of pages requested or do not respect the requested format will not be taken into consideration.
- Candidates applying as curators should note that their application must illustrate their curatorial practice and present a project completed within the last 24 months or a forthcoming project.
- Selection criteria will be based on the originality and relevance of the artistic approach to the contemporary scene.
- Once the application has been finalized, it cannot be modified.
- We recommend that you pay close attention to the consistency of all the documents provided.
Documents required:
- Curriculum Vitæ: please provide a detailed curriculum vitae including your educational background and, if applicable, professional experience. (Maximum 2 pages)
- Statement: in a few sentences, present your research orientations and give an overview of the process and the subjects of your work ... (Maximum 1 page)
- Portfolio: showcase a selection of recent works representative of your artistic approach, with any explanations you deem necessary. (Minimum 10 captioned visuals - Maximum 10 pages)
N.B.: You can also include links to online documents (conferences, press articles, videos, interviews, etc.) in your .PDF files.

Selecting and making appointments
Once the application period is closed, the Carré sur Seine team will select the applications received.
Successful applicants are notified of their selection and of the terms of participation by e-mail.
Candidates are invited to indicate a minimum of seven and a maximum of fifteen names of experts they would like to meet, as well as their availability, using the form they will receive following their selection.
Once all the artists have expressed their wishes and indicated their availability, the appointment scheduling tool will automatically go through several iterations to maximize the match between the artists' requests and the experts' schedules. The aim is to enable as many artists as possible to meet the professionals they want, and to benefit from a maximum of five appointments.
Artists will then be invited to confirm or reject appointment proposals by return e-mail.
They will have to validate the appointments by making the online payment.
In order to avoid abuse and preserve the peace of mind of the experts, any solicitation of an expert on behalf of the Rencontres Artistiques or Carré sur Seine is strictly forbidden and will result in cancellation of the artist's participation without reimbursement.

Day's Schedule
- Meetings start at 10 a.m.
- 20 minutes per appointment
- 5 appointments maximum per artist
- Meeting ends at 5:40 p.m.
Materials required:
A portfolio: paper or digital
You can bring your own creations, projects or any other documents you feel will be useful to complete your presentation.
Participation fee :
- 12 euros per session
- The invoice is available. You can request it by email at: carresurseine2025@gmail.com
- No refunds will be made for late arrivals or cancellations on the part of the artist.
