From March 27 to April 12, 2025, the Centre Wallonie Bruxelles, aka le vaisseau, becomes the site of KnalPatronen | CSS @CWB/P, an exhibition featuring the ten finalist artists of the Prix Carré sur Seine 2024, as well as the three winners of the Prix Carré sur Seine | Programme de Résidence Nexity Héritage 2024.
Chosen by a broad jury of professionals from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines, the winners of the 2024 edition will be announced on Thursday, April 10, 2025.

A stronger commitment to contemporary creation through the creation of an artistic residency and a curation award.

Yvannoé Kruger : This Prize acts as a meeting machine: a space where art is activated and paths cross.

Each year, the Rencontre Artistique Carré sur Seine offers over 400 selected artists the opportunity to exchange ideas with a hundred art professionals, giving rise to an abundance of ideas and perspectives. The event's support for contemporary creation is expressed through a group exhibition and the Prix Carré sur Seine, now firmly established in the contemporary artistic landscape, which celebrates the originality, relevance and professional excellence of artistic approaches.

To round off the exhibition, the Carré sur Seine awards ceremony will be held on Thursday April 10, starting at 7:00 pm. Two grants of 5,000 euros and one of 1,500 euros will be awarded will be awarded to the artists chosen respectively by the Prix 2024 professional jury, the FDD Interconstruction jury and the edition's godmother, Stéphanie Pecourt. A 1,000 euro grant will also be awarded to Lou-Justin Tailhades, winner of the Prix Carré sur Seine | Perspectives Curatoriales 2024.
