Lyes Hammadouche arrived in France at the age of 6 and graduated from the decorative arts in Paris in 2013. He was particularly noticed in 2015 when he was invited by the College of Bernardins for a carte blanche. Fascinated by science and hypnosis, he is currently completing a PSL-SACRE doctoral thesis on the principles of hypnotic inductions related to plastic production (under the tutelage of Samuel Bianchini, artist and teacher-researcher at Ensad and Jerôme Sackur, cognitive scientist at the NSS).

With an extraordinary technical know-how, handling the laser and artriating complex mechanisms, Lyes Hammadouche creates modules of a beauty that is both pure and hypnotic. His works in motion are part of an extensive temporality and question the social and human cycles, the rhythms of life, sleep and the unconscious.
