Guillaume Breton has been artistic director of the Ygrec-ENSAPC Art Center since 2018. Between 2011 and 2017, he co-founded and directed Rowing Projects, (London) where he developed collaborations with, among others, Tate Britain, Gasworks, ICA, Freud Museum, Whitechapel Gallery and participated in several international fairs (Art Brussels, Artissima, Loop Barcelona).

Alongside his activity as a freelance curator, developing projects with the Frac P.A.C.A (Marseille), Musée Bonnat (Bayonne), Auto Italia South East (London), Louise Blouin Fondation (London), Zabludowicz Collection (London) and Galerie Édouard Malingue (Hong Kong); Guillaume Breton has worked for the South London Gallery (London), the Whitney Museum of American Art (New York), Neue Alte Brücke (Frankfurt) and taught on the curatorial course at the Royal College of Art (London) from 2011 to 2013. He has also worked at the Slade School of Art, Sotheby's Institute and De Appel Gallerist Programme.

Guillaume Breton studied cultural mediation at the University of Paris 8, obtained a DEA in Arts and Letters at the University of Aix-Marseille and a Master-Curating Contemporary Art at the Royal College of Art.
