Isabelle Gounod opened her first gallery in 2004 in Boulogne-Billancourt, before inaugurating her space in the Marais in 2008. In 2011, the gallery expands with the "Studio" space.
From the outset, the gallery has paid particular attention to the French scene, and has accompanied and represented the work of Michaële-Andréa Schatt, Martin Bruneau and Jérémy Liron for more than ten years. More recently, Florent Lamouroux, Pierre-Alexandre Rémy, Jacqueline Dauriac and Moussa Sarr have also joined the gallery.
Since 2016, the gallery has also strengthened its position by welcoming artists from foreign art scenes: Luke Heng (Singapore), Glen Baxter (Great Britain), Katharina Ziemke (Germany), Dan Brault (Canada), Leslie Smith III (United States) and Axel Pahlavi (Germany) are now represented by it in France.
In 2020, a first exhibition devoted to Carolyn Carlson initiated the gallery's commitment to the graphic and poetic work of the Franco-American dancer and choreographer.
