Lorraine Gobin has headed the Rubis Mécénat endowment fund since its creation in 2011. After studying economics, management and the art market in France and Great Britain, she developed her professional experience in the United States with the Pace gallery, then as a freelance in the realization and management of artistic projects designed to promote emerging contemporary creation. In 2011, she participated in the creation of the Rubis Mécénat endowment fund, which she has managed ever since, with the aim of promoting contemporary creation, supporting up-and-coming artists, and promoting vulnerable young people through art. All of Rubis Mécénat's actions reflect the fund's desire to promote contemporary creation in all its diversity, encouraging transmission and exchange while creating the conditions necessary for the emergence of new artistic forms and discourses. Through several support and professionalization schemes, the fund works in partnership with numerous cultural institutions in France and abroad.
