Carolina Hernández Muñoz is in charge of international networks and coordinates cultural projects at AWARE: Archive of Women Artists, Research and Exhibitions, where she works in particular to build a transnational network of NGOs and associations dedicated to the promotion of women and non-binary artists in art history and today. She is also coordinator of scientific programs such as Rééclairer le siècle des lumières: Artistes femmes du XVIIIe siècle in partnership with the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and the Alte Nationalgalerie in Berlin, among others. Her research also focuses on the art of the Latin American diaspora, particularly in the United States, work which led her to join the curatorial project Persona Curada as a member of the advisory board. Founded by Noelia Portela, Persona Curada aims to highlight the presence and contributions of Latin American⋅es artists in the French art scene.
