A financial lawyer, Frédéric Lorin is a committed collector. He is a patron of the arts and a member of several associations of friends and artists supporting contemporary art. He is a member of the curatorial team of the Salon de Montrouge for the 2025 and 2026 editions.
In 2020, he set up CulturFoundry, an association of patron-collectors who mount and finance non-trendy contemporary art exhibitions to give artists at a pivotal moment in their careers a different kind of visibility.
He is also an active member of theassociation Franco-British Fluxus Art Projects whose aim is to promote French artists to British institutions and vice versa.
