Launched into an international modeling career in 1986 by Alexander Lierberman, artistic director of American Vogue and editorial director of the Condé Nast group, Charlotte Flossaut's introduction to photography came through contact with great fashion photographers such as Albert Watson, David Seidner, Sarah Moon, Helmut Newton, Duane Michals, Bruce Weber, Sacha, Deborah Turbeville, Françoise Huguier, Koto Bolofo and François Halard, among others.

Fascinated by this language of images, in 2003 she became a photographer's agent with Dimanches27. Her agency was one of the first to take up the challenge of bringing together auteur photography and advertising commissions.

In 2009, under the artistic direction of Rodolphe Simon, she created the photographic collection for the Novotel brand, exploring the territories of young visual artists. She will continue this consultancy collaboration for the new photographic positioning of the Pullman brand.

In 2012, Charlotte Flossaut was entrusted with the Artistic Direction of the Photo OFF show created by Eric Fantou, which she positioned for three editions on committed photography, connected to the realities of the world.

In 2015, a year marked by the Paris attacks, she created What's Up Photo Doc. the international documentary photography fair, which in 2018 became Photo Doc. les nouvelles écritures de la photographie documentaire, for an annual and ongoing exploration around and in favor of the documentary image.
Since then, she has been developing Photo Doc. in conjunction with her partners, and is responsible for the fair's artistic direction.
In 2023, she is committed to staging the 7th edition of Photo Doc, the new documentary photography fair, at the Halle des Blancs Manteaux in Paris.

An expert in several photographic prizes, she also carries out independent curatorial missions for galleries.
