Denise Zanet has developed Initial LABO, an innovative concept entirely dedicated to the art of photography around the heart of the photo lab: an exhibition gallery, a bookshop and a boutique. A space where experts and amateurs coexist, to create a dynamic that enhances the value and visibility of photographers' work.
A partner of major photographic events, it works closely with Visa Pour l'Image, Planches Contact, Festival Photo La Gacilly, Les Escales Photos, Fondation des Treilles, L'Oeil Urbain, Fondation Carmignac and, most recently, the Deauville Sports Images
Festival.
Denise is behind the patronage program that, since 2018, has helped build up a major collection of contemporary Brazilian photographers at the Bibliothèque nationale de France. For this action, she has just been awarded the Senate medal as part of the Semaine de l'Amérique latine et des Caraïbes ( #SALC25).
