Andrea Ponsini holds a Master's degree in International Cultural Management from the University of Genoa (Italy) and a Master's degree in Semiology from the University of Bologna with Umberto Eco. He began his career as an exhibition manager at the Villa Croce Museum of Contemporary Art in Genoa (Italy), as part of the "Genova 2004/European Capital of Culture" project. In 2004, he became Project Manager for the development of the "Biennale Jeune Création Européenne", an international network of exhibitions initiated by the City of Montrouge, and in 2008, General Curator of the project. He was then appointed Head of Exhibitions and Plastic Arts at Montrouge's Department of Culture, before being named Artistic Director of the Salon, in January 2024.
