Marc Donnadieu eis an independent art critic, teacher and curator. Member of ICOM since 2010he was chief curator of Photo Élysée (Musée cantonal pour la photographie, Lausanne, Switzerland) from 2017 to 2023curator in charge of contemporary art at LaM Musée d'art moderne, d'art contemporain et d'art brut de Lille Métropole from 2010 to 2017, director of the Fonds régional d'art contemporain de Haute-Normandie from 1999 to 2010 and chargé de mission at the Institut Français d'Architecture from 1989 to 1999.

Member of Association internationale des critiques d'art (AICA) since 1997, he is a regular contributor regularly to Art Press since 1994 and The Art Newspaper since 2023. He was awarded the Prix Spécial des 10 ans du Prix de l'AICA France in 2022 and Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et Lettres in 2004.

He has curated or co-curated major monographic or thematic exhibitions devoted to painting, drawing and contemporary photography, the notion of commitment, identity processes in today's social spaces, current representations of the body, the relationship between art and architecture between art and architecture, as well asto relations between photography and art brut. He has also contributed to dozens of catalogs and monographic or thematic works in the fields of fine arts, photography architecture, design and fashion.
